Hello family! This week has been weird. I don't remember much. The days fleeeeeeew by. We spent most of them jumping into a bunch of missionaries areas helping them work because we found a bunch of new people to teach early on. So that was super fun. I got to go with Elder Brazier, Elder Howell's, and some other awesome missionaries.

Overall though, things are going well. I love being out here. I love serving my Heavenly Father and His children. One of my favorite scriptures ever is Mosiah 28:3. It talks about what a strong testimony of this Gospel should lead to. It says,
"Now they were desirous that salvation should be declared to every creature, for they could not bear that any human soul should perish; yea, even the very thoughts that any soul should endure endless torment did cause them to quake and tremble."

I'm not quite there yet. I don't think any of us are. But the Sons of Mosiah are such an example to me about what type of child I want to be. God's work is to "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." If we are to align our will with God's will then His work needs to be our work. So what is bringing to pass the immortality and eternal life of man? Immortality is promised to all of us. Old, young, righteous, wicked, it doesn't matter. Because of the Ressurection of Jesus Christ we will ALL be resurrected. Eternal life is a little different. That's living in the presence of God and Christ for eternity. That's something only those in the Celestial kingdom get.

What is required to make it into the Celestial kingdom? Among others things, the main thing that we need, really the only thing REQUIRED is baptism. To the sons of Mosiah this work was so vital to them that of they weren't helping move the work along, if they weren't declaring salvation to their brethren, or in other words, helping them be baptized, they did quake and tremble.

We have been blessed to be a part of this church. To have it in our lives. Not everyone has that. How much do we care? I cannot stress how important this is! The work of salvation is missionary work. It is helping others progress towards baptism! That's how we find joy in this life! How we find peace! But that isn't it. It's not be baptized then sit back. Nephi puts it best when he says,

"And now, my beloved brethren, after ye have gotten into this strait and narrow path, I would ask if all is done? Behold, I say unto you, Nay; for ye have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of him who is mighty to save.

Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life."

I promise you this is how you find peace. It's by giving to someone else. By helping others. Helping them come closer to Jesus Christ. Helping them be the best person they can be. And that's exactly what this Gospel does.

I'm sorry I didn't send a longer email. Next week I'll have a nice long one. I've got to get going. But I plead with each of you to turn to Christ. He paid it all. He can heal you. Please let Him! I love each of you so much!
