 Elder Trezise called a little early because he had a long day ahead.  He is doing well and the Zone conferences and MLT went well.  Here is his letter for the week:

Okaaaaaay... Sorry this is so late. Today has been insane. If I haven't emailed you back, we had tons of stuff come up, and our mission President is sick so he can't do it. So yep. 

Anyways, this week fleeeeeeeeew by. We had Zone Conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday, then MLC on Thursday. Then back to back exchanges Friday and Saturday. That was crazy. 
Something that stuck out this week was the power of the scriptures. President Brad Hall, a stake president who used to be in our mission presidency gave a training on how to help people make and keep commitments. Instead of attacking the problem though, he went to the root. I love that. So his training was focused on how to teach with power. Because that is what will help people become more converted. Well, President Hall has the Book of Mormon memorized, and most of the Bible as well. So it was quite the training. But something that really stuck out is the importance of the scriptures. Teaching by using analogies and visual aids is great! It's awesome! But it's not the words of Christ. And if we want to convert people, we need to convert them to Christ. How are they supposed to be converted to Christ without understanding and listening to Christ? They aren't. And what does it show when you have a scripture memorized? It shows you care about what you're teaching. So that has been my focus this week. Memorizing. And on my 2 exchanges we taught using the scriptures. And the people kept their commitments!!! It was awesome!
Sorry, I know this isn't a super spiritual email or anything, but I'm low on time and just wanted to share a highlight from my week. Next week I promise to have a great long email! I love all of you so, so much!!! I'm so happy to hear things are good at home! Study the scriptures! Feast upon the words of Christ! They tell you all things what you should do. Not just some things. All things. So if you want answers to your prayers, then study!!! You'd be surprised at the answers that are waiting on a page for you! I love you all! I love being a missionary! The church is so true! It really is. I promise you!

It was a crazy day for Elder Trezise and he didn't call until after 5.  I think being AP takes up a lot of his time.  Here is his letter for this week: Sorry this is so late. It's been a day. Haha. But this week has been a good one. It's been crazy! We had exchanges on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. So yeah. Thursday was with Elder Smith, so that one was AWESOME! But the rest were exchanges with struggling missionaries. So that was more tough. But I had a lot of fun. We also drove up and down and up and down all week across the mission, and it was WILD. Here is Elder Trezise's letter: Hello family! This week was pretty normal. We had a good amount of lessons, and got soooooooooooo close to finding a new person to teach. We'll get him. His names Ricardo. He's a good kid. Loves the Bible. Other than that, not too much happening this week.    I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to participate in the family's weekly studies this week, even if I didn't get to be a part of the discussion at the end. I hope you all enjoyed the talks. "Be 100% Responsible" is one of my favorites of all time! It's so good! And it really teaches us how much control we have over our lives. Other people's choices don't change the outcome of our lives, just the course. Same destination. What decisions we make despite others agency is where our true character lies. That's awesome that Michael is still doing the Organ Stop tradition! I always loved that! The Carvajals son moved in for Christmas, and he's fun, and has the new super smash and says it's super fun.
