It was a crazy day for Elder Trezise and he didn't call until after 5.  I think being AP takes up a lot of his time.  Here is his letter for this week:

Sorry this is so late. It's been a day. Haha. But this week has been a good one. It's been crazy! We had exchanges on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. So yeah. Thursday was with Elder Smith, so that one was AWESOME! But the rest were exchanges with struggling missionaries. So that was more tough. But I had a lot of fun. We also drove up and down and up and down all week across the mission, and it was WILD. So much driving. It has been so, so cool to see the mission field and interact with so many missionaries though. I feel so blessed. Today I wanted to send an email with some lyrics to a song that I have and love.

"It's not about having everyone in the world to yourself
It's about knowing that someplace you're loved by someone else

It's about singing and hearing more than your own voice
It's about dancing in life's rain that falls on us

It's knowing that infinite feeling in a vast and beautiful world it's knowing to dream
And making each verse worth while in that poem about how to believe

It's not about reaching the top of the world and missing the view
It's about climbing and feeling the journey's strengthened you

It's about having love and place in other hearts
And then having friends with you in life and every part

We can't have all we've ever wanted what would be the job of the world if it were that way?
And so I'd rather have smiles and the blessings and gifts of life surround me each day.

It's not about all the things money can buy or how you compare,
It's more about each precious moment we have, each smile to share.

It's not about stretching the time that you have by going too fast
Cause when you look back a part of your life has already passed

So hold your child closer hug and smile with your parents while they're still around
Cause life's like a bullet train my friend and our travel is riding at speeds that don't make a sound.

So hold your child closer hug and smile with your parents while they're still around
Cause life's like a bullet train my friend and our travel is riding at speeds that don't make a sound."

Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured. Slow down. Take some time and enjoy it. Because when you overfocus and try to run as fast as you can you'll look up and realize that so much time has past, and you haven't enjoyed any of it. This is a principle I've come to learn since I've been out here. So much time has passed. I am almost 17 months out. That's crazy. And taking it one day at a time has helped me to see the beauty of life each and every day. I'm sorry for the lame email. I had no time. Next week I promise I'll send a good one. I love each of you!
