Elder Trezise's letter was short and sweet.  I did get to speak with him in the morning and after work -so that was great!  I love him so much and the example that is his to me and his family. Hello family!!!!  This week was pretty awesome! We had zone conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday, which apparently as an Assistant means we don't sleep. But honestly it's not bad. I actually enjoy it. I get to be really involved and see how everyone is doing. So life is still going good.    We talked a lot this week about the importance of each and every soul. Our mission has started to elevate itself and we are finding more, teaching more, and baptizing more. However, missionaries feel like we are too focused on numbers. So we talked about it during zone conferences. The "key indicators" are how many are baptized, how many are on date, how many go to church, and how many are found each week. But the full name of key indicators is, "key indicators f...

I spoke with Elder Trezise this morning and he was quite emotional.  He told me he was fasting for Max.  Then he went into another room and started crying.  It's so hard to see him so emotional and worried for his brother.  Here is his letter for the week: Hello family! This week has been a lot of fun! It's been exhausting, but fun. I went on exchanges with Elder Brazier on Wednesday, which was SO FUN! It was just like old times. I love that kid to death.  We had MLC (Mission Leadership Council) on Friday which was really really good. We counselled a lot on the needs of the mission, and Elder Legas, Elder Meyers and I all gave trainings on how to best address these needs. Honestly, I love counseling with other missionaries. We take problems that we have and we discuss ways to solve them, and I always come out of MLC feeling like I accomplished something.    For a message today, I wanted to share the lyrics of a song that a missionar...

Clayton, Elder Brown and Elder Trezise I might have already posted some of these pictures but Elder Trezise sent them to me again so they are worth posting again.  I was able to speak to him on P-Day and his first week as AP was better than he thought.  He is such a light and strength to me.  Here is his letter: Hey family!  This week was CRAZY!!!! I didn't even get to proselyte until Friday night, which was so lame. But it was a really good week though. We found a new person and had a good amount at church which was great!!! On Friday we drove what we call the transfer train, which is a big van that can fit a bunch of missionaries in it. We drove up and down the mission and drove a total of 250 miles th...

Elder Trezise's email was also on Tuesday this week because of the holiday.  He was tired and felt sick when we talked to him.  He had got the call to be one of the new APs (Assistant to the President).  He was stressed and humbled by that call.  His email is short and sweet.  Here it is: Hello family!  Thank y'all so much for your love and your support! My Christmas was amazing because of y'all. I've got a lot of updates for this week. So Thursday Elder Manu was pretty sick. He had a sore throat, and a bad cold. We worked a little bit, but not a ton. That night around 8 pm President called. He asked if I could come over to do some Zone Leader stuff for him. Now, for those of you who don't know, a mission President generally has 2 Assistants to the President. They help him with transfers, with any emergencies that arise, and meet with him super often. It's hard work. One of his assistants is going home this week, so everyone knew he'd be calling ...
