Elder Trezise's email for the week:

Elder Luekenga is awesome! We are having a blast! He's from Avendale, and yes I got the package and the scotchmellows were great!

I have been praying for you, that things would get easier for you with the new job. I know that you'll be able to handle it though! You're awesome! This week has been kind of crazy for me too. I had a bunch of service opportunities come up, and ZL's are in charge of that, so I had to set up a bunch of stuff, but it hasn't been bad. I feel more comfortable as a ZL than I did as a DL. I have lived with ZL's my entire mission, so I know a little bit about what I'm doing. I wish I would have paid more attention though. But I have a great zone full of hard workers, so it's going well. 
 
I'm sorry I don't have time to send a long email. I gave a talk yesterday on making the Book of Mormon a part of our daily lives. I don't remember most of what I said, but I know I shared a few quotes. The 1st was by Elder Holland, where he says,
"I testify that one cannot come to full faith in this latter-day work—and thereby find the fullest measure of peace and comfort in these, our times—until he or she embraces the divinity of the Book of Mormon and the Lord Jesus Christ, of whom it testifies."
The Book of Mormon is our way to find peace and comfort. It is our way to know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. And it is the way to know that this church is true. 

There is a quote by Ezra Taft Benson, where he says, 
"The ONLY problem the objector has to resolve for himself is whether the Book of Mormon is true. For if the Book of Mormon is true, then Jesus is the Christ, Joseph Smith was His prophet, the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints is true, and it is being led today by a prophet receiving revelation."

My testimony is sure and certain. It is not a belief for me. I KNOW, without a shadow of a doubt that the Book of Mormon is true. I have known that for years now. But we have to do more than just know something, or believe something. We have to act. I didn't do missionary work before my mission. I didn't see the importance. But now, I use the knowledge I have to help others find more happiness. I regret the way I spent the past few years. I do. I know that I have changed a lot. My testimony has stayed the same, but my faith has increased. And that is because I read from that Book every single day. It helps me see the importance of going out and doing. It helps me see that this really is the greatest work on the Earth. Missionary work is saving souls. I know that this work brings more lasting joy than anything else. The work is difficult. It is demanding. But it is 100% worth it. Go listen to a talk by Elder Holland titled "Safety for the Soul." And go out and bear witness of God at all times, and in all places. Be true to the covenants you have made. I love you all and pray for you daily.

It was a crazy day for Elder Trezise and he didn't call until after 5.  I think being AP takes up a lot of his time.  Here is his letter for this week: Sorry this is so late. It's been a day. Haha. But this week has been a good one. It's been crazy! We had exchanges on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. So yeah. Thursday was with Elder Smith, so that one was AWESOME! But the rest were exchanges with struggling missionaries. So that was more tough. But I had a lot of fun. We also drove up and down and up and down all week across the mission, and it was WILD. Here is Elder Trezise's letter: Hello family! This week was pretty normal. We had a good amount of lessons, and got soooooooooooo close to finding a new person to teach. We'll get him. His names Ricardo. He's a good kid. Loves the Bible. Other than that, not too much happening this week.    I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to participate in the family's weekly studies this week, even if I didn't get to be a part of the discussion at the end. I hope you all enjoyed the talks. "Be 100% Responsible" is one of my favorites of all time! It's so good! And it really teaches us how much control we have over our lives. Other people's choices don't change the outcome of our lives, just the course. Same destination. What decisions we make despite others agency is where our true character lies.
