While tracting, Elder Trezise found a family with a lot of pets.  He even got to hold one

I have to send this email using my phone instead of using a computer so it's going to be more difficult. Sorry if it isn't long. 
This week went really well though. We found 3 new people to teach and had a ton of success! It was awesome! 
 
The spiritual message that I figured I'd talk about is one that has been discussed plenty of times. And that's trials. Difficult times. Hardships. Whether mentally, physically, or even spiritually. I want to talk about bearing with patience. I understand, believe me I do, I understand that life gets hard. I understand that we have to go through hard things in our life. The Lord Himself has said, "Bear with patience thine afflictions." In Alma chapter 36, Alma says to his son that "whosoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials and their troubles and their afflictions and shall be lifted up at the last day." Does that say that our trials go away? That life magically becomes easy? No. God will SUPPORT us. The trial is still there. The burden is still there. But suddenly we're not in it alone. Suddenly we have help from Heaven with us. God "shall be on our right hand, and upon our left hand, and His angels round about us, to bear us up." So when life gets hard, don't give up. But more importantly, when life gets hard and you turn to God, and the trial is still there, don't give up on God. He doesn't want to take the trial away. He wants to strengthen you to be able to push through the trial. Because in the end that'll be so much better for you. I know it's hard. I know that we wish it was easier. But when was anything that was ever really worthwhile easy? 
I love you all. Keep pushing. Keep trying. Don't give up on yourself. Don't give up on God. He WILL support you!

It was a crazy day for Elder Trezise and he didn't call until after 5.  I think being AP takes up a lot of his time.  Here is his letter for this week: Sorry this is so late. It's been a day. Haha. But this week has been a good one. It's been crazy! We had exchanges on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. So yeah. Thursday was with Elder Smith, so that one was AWESOME! Here is Elder Trezise's letter: Hello family! This week was pretty normal. We had a good amount of lessons, and got soooooooooooo close to finding a new person to teach. We'll get him. His names Ricardo. He's a good kid. Loves the Bible. Other than that, not too much happening this week.    I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to participate in the family's weekly studies this week, even if I didn't get to be a part of the discussion at the end. I hope you all enjoyed the talks. "Be 100% Responsible" is one of my favorites of all time! It's so good! And it really teaches us how much control we have over our lives. Other people's choices don't change the outcome of our lives, just the course. Same destination. What decisions we make despite others agency is where our true character lies.
