Reunited with Elder Nelson

Trying to get an Ollie fix in

Elder Trezise and one of his favorites..Elder Woods
This was the first P-day after the announcement that missionaries were allowed to skype home.  It was amazing!!!  My birthday was Wednesday of that week and Elder Trezise was able to skype home and talk to all of us.  He said a family prayer for us that night and my heart was so happy.

His letter this week was short and sweet:

So it was a pretty good week. We found 2 more new people to teach this week! Of course the highlight this week was the announcement that I could see my dog once a week. I'm excited about that! It was really great to talk to you guys too. I'm going to love doing this weekly! I'll try skyping early so it's before they go to school. We met a ton of anti people this week. A few who cursed at us, a few door slams, so pretty solid week. It was fun. It's hard not to get angry. But it has still been fun. An Elder in our district, Elder Banks and I went on exchanges this week, and while waiting to exchange back at night we got into deep doctrine stuff, and it was fun. It has been a good week.
I told you some of the stories of this week's zone conference, which was awesome! Brother Littlefield shared stories about assigning calls, which was awesome to learn how my call was assigned. I would like to know who assigned it, but it's okay. Elder Bednar and Holland are my favs so I hope it was one of them. (But most people probably hope for Holland, haha.) I was talking about my journal earlier. I wish I would have kept a journal before the mission. I have loved looking back at my past entries and seeing what I felt and thought, and different experiences. I wish I had done it earlier. I have seen a lot of blessings from it throughout my mission.
Elder Smith (the Elder from AZ staying with us) is awesome. He plays guitar and knows some bands that only a true fan of music would know. So I have a video of him singing 'I'll follow you into the dark' from Death Cab, and 'the 1st single' from the Format. He LOVES Motion City Soundtrack and is awesome! We have fun! I just love being here. There's a missionary that has music that invites the Spirit that he says he talked to President about, and his iPod was playing the other day, and "Somewhere Only We Know" came on, and I was like, 'I know this song, and I don't think it's approved.' Then he was like, "Listen to the lyrics and think about Heaven." The lyrics literally talk about heaven. It was interesting. I'm still not going to listen to it, but it was a lot more spiritual this time. It was awesome!
Anyway, sorry there's no deep spiritual thought here, but I'm excited to talk to you guys on Wednesday and Monday! I love y'all so much! Have a great week!
