Is Elder Smith flipping us the bird?? That isn't very Christlike

P-day was on Tuesday this week so Elder Trezise could go to the temple.  Elder Trezise's email was short and sweet but he made up for it by sending loads of pictures.  Man he's the best!!

Okay, I guess I'll send an email. It was a really great week, for the most part. I was sick from Tuesday night to Friday night, so that sucked. But we still did some work while I was sick (probably why I was sick so long). But it was okay because we had Conference to make up for it. Conference was awesome. It was my favorite. I took 44 pages of notes. Good stuff. I really loved President Nelson's talks, and Elder Uchtdorf's talk. And President Erying during Priesthood. I don't know, it's hard to choose favorites when I got so much out of all of them. I just got the resounding feeling that this is the true church of Jesus Christ throughout Conference. I KNOW, with a surety that President Nelson is the Lord's chosen prophet, guided by God Himself to lead us in today's time. I am so grateful for this knowledge, and am sad that I didn't pay more attention growing up. 

Anyway, we had a lot of fun this week. We did some service yesterday and Elder Smith and I got to talk a lot. It was awesome. I like that guy. I like our whole house. We're having a ton of fun and working hard. The temple was a huge blessing today. It had been so long since I had gone, and it had really impacted my spirituality. I'm going to go all the time when I get home. I had a really, really spiritual experience in the Celestial room. I am so grateful for the Spirit that the temple brings. I love the temple. 
I am just so grateful for this church and this Gospel. I really liked Elder McKay's talk, about immediate blessings. I know that we have trials and troubles, and that's inevitable. But, as we trust in the Lord, we will receive blessings in the midst of our trials. 
I love you all so much, and I love this Gospel so much. There is nothing in the world that has brought me more joy than this Gospel. Not even my precious puppy. The knowledge that I have that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again in glory and exaltation is the most important knowledge on the earth. This is the knowledge that I'm trying to bring to others. It is more important than all the riches and the scientific information in the entire world. It is THE MOST IMPORTANT KNOWLEDGE ON EARTH. And I feel the fire. I feel the desire to spread it. Now. Like President Nelson said, "Time is running out." We need to give it a more serious devotion. We need to realize that our worldly goals come second to our Heavenly goals. I love you all, and can't wait to see you guys again. I know that this Gospel is true. I know that this Church is true and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know it! Love you all! Have a great week!

It was a crazy day for Elder Trezise and he didn't call until after 5.  I think being AP takes up a lot of his time.  Here is his letter for this week: Sorry this is so late. It's been a day. Haha. But this week has been a good one. It's been crazy! We had exchanges on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. So yeah. Thursday was with Elder Smith, so that one was AWESOME! Here is Elder Trezise's letter: Hello family! This week was pretty normal. We had a good amount of lessons, and got soooooooooooo close to finding a new person to teach. We'll get him. His names Ricardo. He's a good kid. Loves the Bible. Other than that, not too much happening this week.    I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to participate in the family's weekly studies this week, even if I didn't get to be a part of the discussion at the end. I hope you all enjoyed the talks. "Be 100% Responsible" is one of my favorites of all time! It's so good! And it really teaches us how much control we have over our lives. Other people's choices don't change the outcome of our lives, just the course. Same destination. What decisions we make despite others agency is where our true character lies.
