We got these pictures and this short email from Elder Trezise on this non-pday:

Hello mom and rest of family! Tonight I got to open my Christmas packages! I was so excited!!! Thank you all so much for all the love that you show me! You're all so supportive and helpful, and I really feel cared for. Today was a fantastic day! I love you guys so much!

We were all kind of mad because he didn't get to open his presents on Christmas but he didn't seem too upset.  I love all of the pictures.

Here is Elder Trezise's email for the week: Okay... First off, don't be one of those weird people who puts sweaters on dogs. No. I'm sorry this Christmas season has been really busy. I hope it gets better soon. I have never seen one of those Light the World vending machines, but they sound awesome. I still haven't had the chance to watch the devotional, because we could only watch it if an investigator was watching it. But hopefully I'll find time to see it. We have stake conference this week. I don't know if I've mentioned him in an email yet, but our stake president, President Baczuk is seriously amazing. He's like less than 40 years old, and has been a stake president, and bishop, and he is amazing. His talk was about trials and the atonement. He talked about a young family with a son and daughter. 4th of July 4th of July Farewell to Pres. & Sis. Nelson  Here is the letter from this week: Hello family, this week was a lot of fun! I don't remember much of Monday or Tuesday. But Wednesday we had meet the President and got to talk to President Hurley and his family! They are awesome! He's bringing 4 kids with him! His last is on a mission, and his oldest is up at BYU-I. Crazy.  For the 4th we had a ward breakfast in one of our wards in the morning which was really good, and then we had no idea what to do after that. It was meant to be a regular day. In the evening we went over to the Shively's who are the coolest people in the world. We hung out with them and saw the fireworks which was awesome! Soooooooooo much fun!   Friday I had exchanges with Elder Clarke, which was pretty good. We had a good conversation at night about how to become the best missionaries we can be. I'm trying to remember everything that happened, haha. It was very eventful. I hope you all had the chance to watch General Conference. And I hope you all went in to conference with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, ready and willing to learn what it is the Lord needed you to learn. I know personally I felt so much hope. I felt so much peace. I don't think I necessarily felt anxious or afraid before the conference, but I know that how I feel now is different. I am so confident and sure that things are going to be okay. I hope that y'all can feel the peace that the Gospel brings.  I invite each of you to reflect on the Conference.
