This boy wanted to be baptized.  None of his family attended the baptism.  The boy only wanted a few people from the ward there.  Elder Trezise was so happy to attend!
Elder Trezise and Elder Manu - I'm not sure who the couple is
Goofing around with other missionaries

I admit I was worried to talk to Elder Trezise when he called.  His struggles were weighing heavy on my heart.  He was in a much better space and had been able to talk with Elder Legas and work some things out.  I'm still anxious to hear how MLC training went..Here is his email for the week.

Hello FAMILY!!!
This week was... a week. It honestly wasn't too bad. And I have things figured out now, so I'm all good.
We've been working a ton on zone conference for this upcoming week, and I'm going to be giving a few trainings. One is on teaching the Restoration with power, and another is on being emotionally and mentally tough.

Some things that have stuck out during the creation of these trainings have been mostly on how to remain happy. President Monson once said something along the lines of, "God's love is always there for you. That love never changes... It is there for you when you are sad or happy, discouraged or hopeful. God’s love is there for you whether or not you feel you deserve it. It is simply always there."
I love that. No matter what happens in our lives, no matter how hard life gets and how strong the wind blows, we always have God. Even when we aren't worthy of His love, He doesn't take it away. He loves us perfectly. We cannot begin to comprehend how He feels about us.
Elder Holland once said, "The past is to be learned from, not lived in." We make mistakes. We screw up. But this life is meant to be a learning experience. You mess us, and you learn from it. Learn from the past, prepare for the future, and live in the now. Don't dwell on the small things.

This week I got to call home on Thursday because of my mom's birthday. That alone was enough to make me happy. But, the highlight of that call wasn't counseling with my parents. It was hearing Max play a song on the guitar. I don't know the song. I can't remember the lyrics. But I can tell you how I felt when I watched him play. I realized something very important. My family matters. They mean the world to me. I love them with all my heart. And the stress and the drama going on each day, the mistakes we make daily, those don't matter. No matter what happens I know why I'm here. I am here to serve God and to help His children. To strengthen my brothers and sisters. I won't let the small things change my attitude.
I encourage each of you to focus on what matters to you. Don't dwell on your shortcomings. Don't focus on the past. Don't worry about the future. Live in the here and now and just try to do what God wants you to do. I love each of you so, so much. I pray for you. I think about you. Just try your best and let God do the rest. I love you!
-Elder Trezise
