I didn't get to talk to Elder Trezise for very long since it was transfers and he kept getting calls since he is the Zone Leader in Ammon.  Here is his letter: HELLO FAMILY!!! This week was super fun. We found 2 new people to teach and have been working really hard and having tons of fun. We also found out last night that Elder Manu and I are staying together, which we are so excited for! Also, Elder Brazier became a Zone Leader! That's my son! But seriously, overall, it's been a super great week. Earlier on in the week I asked the Assistants how we, as a zone, could help the mission reach its weekly goal of every companionship finding a new person to teach, and last night President called us, and said, "Elder Trezise. I need your help. There's only 1 area left that hasn't found. We have 2 hours to help them. I want you to go out there and help." Now, I'm in the middle of Ammon. So I expected it to be in a nearby area of another zone (my z...

Hello! This week was stellar! Seriously. It was a super great week! We found 2 new people to teach, and a ton of potential people to teach. We had 15 people we're teaching at church which was an all time high for us. And we had a baptism and have 4 more people on date. Our area is leading the mission in every category. It's AWESOME! And I am seriously just loving life. I wake up every day just feeling happy and fulfilled. And I go to bed every night feeling happy and fulfilled. Life is just awesome right now.  But obviously life doesn't always stay like that. I'm bracing for the future. But no matter what happens, sadness is meant to refine us. So I'm ready.    I'm not really sure what to share as a spiritual thought. Recently my focus has been consecration. Giving up things in my life that are holding me back, so I can serve with all my heart. And that has been helping us find a lot of success and happiness. I have this talk where the speake...

Elder Trezise and Elder Orindolph (his favorite companion) Elder Trezise and part of his zone He didn't write much this week but we were able to talk a while in the morning.  Here is Elder Trezise's email for the week: Hello, sorry this is late. I was helping the AP's out with something. This week was AMAZING! We found 3 new nonmembers to teach, and had 14 nonmembers come to sacrament, which is an all time high for me. So that was bomb. We had MLC on Friday at President's house, and it was so awesome. We have literally been seeing miracles as we have gone out and worked our hardest and done our best. It has just been so freaking cool to see. Also, I got to meet Henry J. Erying (President Erying's son), and he is super spiritual and awesome. So that was super cool.  I don't really have a lot to email or to say today. I have been up since 4:30 and I'm just exhausted. But I did want to talk a little bit about prayer. Prayer is possibl...

Elder Trezise shared an experience with me today when we were on the phone.  He told me that Elder Littleton had taken him aside and told him he was impressed that Elder Trezise and his companion had 13 people at church the Sunday before.  Elder Littleton told him that most foreign missions don't get that.  I know that Elder Trezise has the unique ability to show others geniune love and I think that and his earnest desire to spread the gospel has helped him so much.  Here is his letter: THIS WEEK WAS AWESOME! Seriously... it was the best. Monday night I got to travel to Rexburg with 4 other Zone Leaders to meet with Shane Littlefield. He is the representative of the church over all the missions in Central America and South America. He meets with the Quorum of the Twelve at least once a month to discuss the work in the missions he oversees, and works through and with over 100 mission Presidents and a ton of Area Presidencies. He sat us down, there were on...
