When I spoke to Elder Trezise this morning he was super tired.  He had been up a lot of the night talking with some other missionaries.  I think he was worried about a lot of stuff.  His email reflects some of that.

Idaho is swell. I am having a really great time and things are going great! This week was really good. We had 13 nonmembers at church, and apparently have had a family of 4 we're teaching come to church the last like 3 weeks. Sweet surprise. It's hard to keep track of everyone when you cover 10 wards, haha. But things are going great.
I had some really good conversations with a lot of missionaries this week, and the zone is doing great. It's weird. I feel like I need to be doing more. There were only 3 days this week that I was up past 11, and I feel like I'm not working as hard as I should be. But I know I'm doing fine deep down.

This upcoming week we have zone conference, which I am super excited about. And I have a meeting with Brother Littlefield tonight which will be awesome as well. I'm going to Rexburg for it.
Sorry I'm sending this late, and sorry it's not too long. It's been a weird day. Some stuff going on I have to take care of. But I am doing really well. I hope everything is good back home. I pray for all of you daily.

Something that I learned that I wanted to share this week is about growth and comfort. I want to talk about spiritual safety. A member shared a story about a climb they went on that was very difficult. He said it would have been safest to stay home and not go. And we want to be safe right? But he sacrificed some of his safety for growth. He believed this would help him grow and become a better person. And then during the climb he sacrificed more and more safety for more growth. But at one point decided to head back because of danger. Progression in the Gospel is the same way. We can stay home and do nothing and be safe. But are we doing what God wants us to do? No. We have to sacrifice some protection for some growth. And more, and more, and more. But we have to understand that this does not give us an excuse to put ourselves in dangerous situations, spiritually speaking. We make sacrifices, we grow, but we need to also stay safe. And the way we stay safe is by reading and praying and going to church. We stay safe by using the materials we have. I know that those three habits are Celestial habits that can help us progress and learn and grow more than anything else. If you are struggling with any of those three, I plead with you to put forth a greater effort. I promise you it helps.

Sorry this was such a lame email! I love you all so, so, so much!
