His letter this week was short and sweet  - mostly because we had spoken with him numerous times on skype.  No pictures this week.

This week was a lot of fun. Elder Jevne and I have been working super hard because we know he's leaving soon. And we met and exceeded all of our goals this week! I went on exchanges with our District Leader, and we found 2 new people to teach, and met over 40 people that day. It was a great day. It was snowy and windy all day, and I loved it. It was great to talk to you guys this morning and do see my dog. I love the video of Ollie and the cat. It's awesome!
That's crazy that Brother Blazer is the new Bishop! This week was a ton of fun. Anway, I've been thinking a lot about what I wanted to share with you guys, and I've decided I wanted to share something about missionary work. As a missionary I have learned more about God, and about myself than I ever would have thought I would. I have grown and felt myself become more like Christ in these 5 months than I would have thought I could in a lifetime. But the best part, is that I am still learning, and will continue to learn for eternity. "The works of God continue in one eternal round." I heard a story about an 87 year old who was baptized. She went and got her patriarchal blessing, and in the blessing it said, "you weren't baptized earlier because the man who was supposed to baptize you chose not to serve a mission." We need to remember that we have been commanded to serve a mission. And serving a mission isn't just for us, although in many ways it is. But it is for those we meet. For those who we invite Christ into their lives. We get to watch Him heal them, all because we chose to serve and invite Him into their lives. President Nelson has said, "My dear extraordinary youth, you were sent to earth at this precise time, the most crucial time in the history of the world, to help gather Israel. There is nothing happening on this earth right now that is more important than that. There is nothing of greater consequence. Absolutely nothing. This gathering should mean everything to you. This is the mission for which you were sent to earth." We were specifically sent to the earth in this day in age to be able gather Israel. The most important work on the earth. I have seen the Gospel and thew truth of the church bless so many people, all because of my decision to serve. I am so grateful the Lord gave me this opportunity. I love a talk by Elder Ballard where he says, "The Lord isn't looking for missionaries to fill some vacancy. God can do His work if He wants. We are given the opportunity to serve Him. He is giving us the chance to serve Him." I love being a missionary and serving God. I love helping those in need. And I am so grateful for your guys' love and support! Have a great week!

side note:  I'm not sure if he mentioned it but Elder Jevne was called to the New Zealand mission but served for a little bit in Idaho until he could get his Visa.  He and Elder Trezise bonded over Brandon Sanderson books.
