Another short and sweet email and no pictures (probably because he knew he was being transferred and wanted to spend the day saying goodbye)

Hello. So I got some news. No, I wasn't able to go to the temple. It's complicated. But hopefully I can go soon. Wednesday night I got called to be a trainer. I'm a little nervous and a little stressed out about it. It doesn't help that I'm the only one training out of 16 missionaries who's been out under a year. And I've been out a lot under a year. So that was nerve racking. On top of that, I found out I'm being transferred to a brand new area, which is a walking area. So I'm whitewash training in a new walking area. Yeah... I'm not excited. I'm gonna miss the Carvajals a lot. But I'm staying in a home with Elder Woods, and he is a stud, so I'm happy about that.
I'm not happy to hear about Max though. That makes me sad.
We heard a talk yesterday from an elderly man about to serve a senior mission. He talked about understanding that not all fights are worth fighting. He gave the example of when, in Matthew chapter 17 where they ask Peter if Jesus pays tribute to Ceaser. Peter asks Jesus, and Jesus basically answers saying, "Do Ceaser's kids pay tribute to Ceaser?" The answer is no. Meaning obviously that the Son of God doesn't need to pay tribute either. That Ceaser should pay tribute to Him instead. But, Jesus says, "Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee." Jesus says, 'notwithstanding.' He says basically, "It doesn't matter. It's not a big deal." We need to pick our fights. There's the classic example of Jesus in the temple, kicking the people out. This is a fight that was important enough to fight. I'm glad you didn't email the councilor. That's a fight that doesn't matter.
I've had so much fun in this area, and with Elder Nelson. We've gotten along 90% of the time we've been together, and I love him a lot. I love Elder Robinette too, who is also getting transferred. Elder Robinette and I had an awesome exchange on Saturday though, and we got to say our goodbyes to each other throughout the day, because we already knew we'd be split up. It's sad that I'm moving. I'll see Elder Nelson once per transfer though which is awesome. We're really sad we're being split up. But I know that with the help of the Lord it's going to work out fine, and I will be able to do a good job training, despite the challenges.
Anyway, sorry I'm not emailing for longer, it's our last P day together, and we want to have time to spend with each other. Love you mom! I'll talk to you later when I figure everything out.
